How we help

UK VAT services cover the registration and recurring record work that businesses need to manage. Alliance Street helps review the agreed transaction scope and prepare information for returns, with attention to consistency between accounting records and VAT reporting.

What is the UK VAT registration threshold?

You must register for UK VAT when your total taxable turnover for the last 12 months goes over £90,000, or when you expect it to go over £90,000 in the next 30 days. Registration is due within 30 days of the end of the month in which you crossed the threshold, and registration takes effect from the first day of the second month after you went over.

Common questions

Can you support a business with cross-border transactions?

We can review the nature of the transactions and agree the records and specialist input needed for your circumstances. Cross-border activity should be assessed directly rather than treated as a standard domestic return.

Who This Is For

UK-incorporated businesses trading above the VAT threshold, or founders who want to register voluntarily ahead of it.
