Book a ConsultationHow we help
A UAE free zone company needs a licence and operating arrangements that fit how it will earn revenue. Alliance Street helps founders compare free zones, define their activities and coordinate incorporation, workspace and visa requirements. We start with your customers, ownership structure and trading model before recommending a setup.
Do free zone companies still pay UAE corporate tax?
A free zone company is not automatically exempt. A Free Zone Person that meets the conditions to be treated as a Qualifying Free Zone Person can apply a 0% Corporate Tax rate to its Qualifying Income, but income falling outside that definition is taxed under the standard rules — 0% up to AED 375,000 and 9% above. Which of your revenue streams qualify depends on what you actually do and who you invoice, so the structure decision and the tax outcome are the same decision.

Common questions
How do I choose a UAE free zone?
Compare the activities the authority permits, where your customers are, workspace needs, visa plans and recurring costs. A low initial package price is only useful if the licence supports the business you intend to operate.
Who This Is For
Founders who want full ownership of their UAE company without a local partner, and who trade internationally rather than directly with the UAE mainland market.
